Technology with a future
Transcranial Doppler Sonography is a highly specialised and clearly defined competence field within medical technology. Since the introduction of the first systems by Rune Aaslid in the early 1980s, the technology has been continuously developed further. To this day, the Doppler holds its ground against vastly elaborate diagnostic methods due to low costs, meaningful reports of diagnostic findings, and lastly, the possibility of continuous monitoring in real time – advantages which are recognised by more and more users worldwide.
Core competence TCD
We at Compumedics DWL have been working – at the highest level of innovation – on the further development and optimisation of the Transcranial Doppler Sonography for decades. Where others diversify, we have made clear decisions to stay on one main path. With the aid of a highly specialised, international expert team, we work every day to make our Doppler systems even more powerful and more user-friendly. We do what we do best and we get better everyday.
We help to save lives
The core competence of our company and its employees lies in the Transcranial Doppler Sonography and its unique operational performance, for example in the detection and differentiation of emboli. In close contact with professors and research facilities worldwide, we perfect diagnostic methods and develop new applications, thereby making a contribution to saving lives.
