Microprobes and navigator

16 MHz ultrasound probes are used to measure blood flow conditions in the microvascular and endoscopic region. Using the 16 MHz frequency, it is not only possible to invasively place the probe directly on the wall of the vessel to be examined but also to detect the blood flow in vessels near to the surface (non invasive examination).

16 MHz re-usable probes

Standard 16 MHz probes are available in diameters of 1, 2, and 3 mm with a cable length of 2.5 m. The 16 MHz endoscopy probes with a diameter of 1.8 mm are especially designed for endoscopic examinations and equipped with a rigid 2.5 m long cable. The insonation depth of all 16 MHz probes is approximately 0.5 mm to 5 mm.

Probe navigator

The probe navigator, which consists of a handle and a mounted shaft, serves to safely accommodate and guide 16MHz probes. The probe cable is routed through the shaft and handle so that the view of the operation field is not restricted.

The probe navigator is available in different variants.

Shafts for the existing handle can each be ordered in sets of three in various shapes and lengths. A sterilization container can be optionally ordered.
Cleaning and sterilization: the probe navigator handle and shaft are made of stainless steel and can be reprocessed  and autoclaved.
